继推出歌曲《伸出手》后，歌手平安在平安夜到来之际再发一首新歌：《We'll be there》。^[1]

平安的新歌，是唱给朋友的。一年很快就过完了，到年底的时候我们就会去梳理自己一年的历程，去总结人生、反思生命、追念爱情和友谊。‘We'll be there’的意思，可以理解成我们相互守候。可能平日里，我们就自顾自，在自己的生活圈里、事业场上冲锋陷阵，朋友之间没有怎么联系，我们身上发生很多事，他们都是不在场的。但这种不在场的“陪伴”，也是我们怀有美好人生梦想的重要力量。因为我们知道，无论自己在哪里，做什么，他们都默默陪伴和支持着我们。

《We'll be there》旋律朗朗上口，中文的主歌部分，没有华丽辞藻的堆砌，但却如细语呢喃，充满脉脉温情。“时间一分一秒过去/转眼 季节已悄然更替/窗外已经是Christamas eve/一年即将过去岁末冬的气息”、“虽然世界并不尽如人意/而你却从来不曾放弃/抬起头总是会想到你/我在这里等你带来春的讯息/”没有深刻哲学理念的传达，而只是讲时光流逝、季节更替。英文的副歌部分，却通过复沓回环，来实行一咏三叹：I'll be there，any time you need a friend；you'll be there，any time I need a hand；we'll be there……鼓和bass音色老沉，听这音乐就如同晒着暖暖的太阳，温暖的情绪在这咏叹之间蔓延开来：音乐多美好，日子真简单，而且我在，你在。冬去春来，我们就在这岁月里相互陪伴和守候。
